Public Realm Works at Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim

Public realm and associated improvements to rejuvenate the town of Carrick-on-Shannon. Split into four separate contracts, the works comprised a 110 space car park that was designed to also function as an outdoor public event venue, replacement of a 300m long boardwalk / marina that was designed as suitable for use as a public walking trail, upgraded public lighting to the existing bridge and Riverwalk area and substantial upgrades to the public realm in the town centre streets including the use of high quality, long lasting materials and the introduction of innovative street furniture and appropriate landscaping and public lighting.
