Full Quantity Surveying services for the construction of a 2,200 m2 building (10.6m high to the ridge) built over existing slate manufacturing plant which remained in operation throughout the works. The new structural steel frame was erected through the existing asbestos sheeted roof and the entire building was decked out over all the existing manufacturing plant allowing uninterrupted production to the plant. The plant is operational 24 hrs a day, 6 days a week with a half day a week clean down process.
